Terra Camiare, The Most Awarded Winery
When Tim Atkin, a prestigious international wine critic, visited Córdoba in February 2023, he was really surprised by the quality of the local production. “The mix of soil types, altitudes, and directions is very promising,” admitted the specialist.
Atkin, who was awarded a Master of Wine by the British Institute of Masters of Wine, highlighted seven labels from Terra Camiare, a winery belonging to the wine roads in Sierras Chicas.
Located in Colonia Caroya, 57 kilometers from Scratch House, Terra Camiare has several options for those interested in visiting this winery, including wine tasting and vineyard walks.

There is also a winery located 57.6 kilometers from Scratch House, La Caroyense, which was founded in 1930. Specialized in different varietal wines, this place offers free guided tours with prior reservation and VIP tours including wine tasting. One of its products, the sparkling Caroyense Piu Nature (2021) was rated 88 points by Tim Atkin.
In Colonia Caroya, Chacra de Luna also stands out as an artisan winemaker offering vineyard walks and varied gastronomic options all year.
The Rosel Family Farm is another place to visit. Located 51.7 kilometers from Scratch House, this artisanal winemaking establishment includes guided enological and educational tours through its vineyard and winery.
Di Candi is another outstanding establishment in the region located 59.6 km from Scratch House. It is open all year round, and you can take a tour around its three hectares of vineyards to learn about its history and Italian influence from its very owner. You can also enjoy wine tasting.
Very close to the previous winery, Don Fabio is located. It is an artisan winemaking establishment where you can visit its vineyards and delight yourself with a novel gastronomic offer. You can also try pizza made with grape flour dough, the most peculiar and distinctive dish there.
